Seeking Church Partners for Our Program
Interested in having a small group of older Russian orphans visit your community?Interested in introducing the Gospel to orphans eager to learn and grow in Christ?The Russian Orphan Lighthouse Project, started in 1998, has brought more than 500 older Russian orphans to the US for homestays with Christian families in 6 different states resulting in hundreds of children having found their 'forever homes'. We are now seeking to expand its program to new states and church communities around the US. Churches interested in having members of the congregation host one or more of our older Russian orphans, ages 6-14 years old, and help us to introduce Christ to the children are actively being sought by us. Trips are 10 days long and trips are usually planned 3-5 months in advance. Hosting families need not commit to adoption but should be willing to pay a hosting fee of $1000 (to defray the transportation cost) and be at least open-minded to international adoption and to exposing their child to family, friends, neighbors and others so that the child may have the opportunity to meet their forever family.
