Babies and Toddlers Need Homes Too!
Interested in providing a home for Russian babies and toddlers? While the Russian authorities do not permit children under the age of 6 years of age to travel on our Lighthouse Project hosting trips, we have plenty of babies and toddlers available for adoption too. Two trips are necessary for under-age children, the first trip being one week, the second trip being 3-4 weeks though one parent can return home after court (or, after the first week). Since 1993, the Lighthouse adoption team has facilitated the adoption of over 850+ children, more than half of whom have been babies and toddlers. Fluent English-speaking facilitators will guide you through the adoption process from the time you land in Russia until the time you depart with your child. Christian, caring, efficient and experienced US staff will assist you with preparing your adoption documents and with all of your travel plans. Photos, video, legal and medical documents about your child will be provided to you prior to your first trip to Russia. We encourage all families to have your child's referral evaluated by international adoption specialists in the US prior to traveling. Should questions arise, our Russian staff will do our best to get all of your questions answered prior to your traveling. Our Russian regional officials, who very much support and like our older-child Lighthouse Project, encourage us to have families interested to adopt babies and toddlers to apply to our program.
